Mandi

"Classy with a k."

Nickname:
My real name is a nickname and YES, I was named after the Barry Manilow song.

Patron Saint of Sass:
Katharine Hepburn, of course, for many reasons but especially this:

Barbara Walters was interviewing her and asked if she ever wore skirts, and Katharine said, "I have one skirt, Barbara Walters, and I shall wear it to your funeral."

Worst job ever:
I was a 7 ft tall gingerbread man at a Manheim Steamroller holiday concert.

Personality trait I find most annoying:
People who like/hate things ironically.

If time and money were no object, I would travel to: MARS!

Signature drink:
Red wine in a Nalgene bottle.

Favorite TV show as a kid/teenager:
It's a tie between 20/20 and Clarissa Explains it All.

Favorite band/singer as a kid/teenager: Shania Twain, Garth Brooks, the Chipmunks Gone Country (I'm from South Dakota).

Did you ever smack someone, and for what reason?
I once knocked a man unconscious with one punch to the chin during homecoming for calling a friend of mine a bad name.

Reputation in high school:
Most likely to be heard before being seen.

Best piece of advice given:
Don't ever do speed because it will make you eat dog food and if you can't feel your face then it's time to stop drinking - my mother, on the first day of college.

What is the best part about being a Sassy Lassy?
I don't have to wear a hat.

Advice to trivia players:
The first answer that pops in your head is probably right, unless it's wrong.
